  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This sampling survey has been carried out by British Geological Survey (BGS) for BGS, the survey took place in April to May1973 in the North Sea (Marr Bank and Tay-Forth map sheet areas on board the MV Whitethorn. The purpose was to collect data as part of UK continental shelf survey programme. Sample data were collected using gravity corer; borehole drilling; Vibrocorer; Dredge; Shipek Grab and photography. These data are archived by BGS. No BGS survey report currently available.</dc:description>
