<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This joint British Geological Survey (BGS) and National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (NOCS) marine multibeam and geophysical survey took place in September 2010 in Lake Windermere on board the RV White Ribbon. The purpose was to produce a bathymetric map of the lake, in a bid to determine the late glacial and post glacial processes, using sediments from within Windermere and identification of lakebed habitats. Sea floor bathymetry data were collected using a Kongsberg EM3002D multibeam system. These data are archived by BGS.</dc:description>
