The purpose of this dataset was to provide spatial information for a range of fishing activities occurring in Welsh waters. \r\n\r\nActivities mapped are: \r\n\r\n- Beam trawling and scallop dredging \r\n- Mussel, oyster and hydraulic dredging \r\n- Otter trawling \r\n- Light demersal trawls and seines \r\n- Pelagic trawling, drift nets and hook and line fishing \r\n- Static gear fishing\r\n- nets and long line \r\n- Static gear fishing\r\n- pots \r\n- Hand gathering \r\n- Aquaculture \r\n\r\nThe dataset includes maps and a text description of each activity.",
