    "description": "The aim of this survey was to investigate the feasibility of using a phase 2 sampling grid methodology to determine the proportion of muddy and sandy communities and the distribution of major communities within the estuary. The Mawddach is one of the best examples of a small, drying, bar-built estuary in Britain and, with its mountainous catchment area it has some of the lowest nutrient inputs in Wales. In order to be able to report on the condition of the estuary a number of attributes have been identified which require monitoring. \r\n\r\nThis dataset contains the results of a survey carried out to trial a sampling strategy and methodology that addresses two of these attributes: - The relative proportion of muddy and sandy communities. - The distribution of major communities within the estuary.",
