    "description": "This dataset is derived from the deployments of 63 pop-up satellite archival \r\ntags on Atlantic bluefin tuna (*Thunnus thynnus*) in the western English \r\nChannel, off the coast of Wales and in Jersey waters. The tuna were at liberty \r\nfor up to 730 days before the tags detached. The dataset comprises a number of \r\ndifferent files: (i) a summary table giving the deployment details of each tag \r\nin the dataset, (ii) the estimated migration paths of each tuna, the ocean \r\nregion and EEZ within which each daily location falls, plus the average and \r\nmaximum depth; (iii) the terminal two weeks of the time-series archive from a \r\ntuna that was predated by a supposed orca (*Orcinus orca*). The data were \r\ncollected as part of the Thunnus UK programme, a collaboration between Cefas \r\nand the University of Exeter UK which was funded by the Department for the \r\nEnvironment, Food and Rural Affairs (MF1247) and the European Maritime and \r\nFisheries Fund (ENG2395), Welsh Government (C7986), and the Government of \r\nJersey. Some of the tags used in this study were provided by the International \r\nCommission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna (ICCAT) and deployed using \r\nThunnus UK funding. Stanford University (USA) and the TAG A Giant programme \r\nprovided training and support for fieldwork.",
