    "description": "Surveys to target spring ichthyoplankton in the Irish Sea were carried out in \r\n1987, 1988 and 1989 (and linked to an earlier series of *Nephrops \r\nnorvegicus* L. larval surveys between March and June of 1982 and 1985). \r\nIchthyoplankton samples were collected at each site on a planned survey grid. \r\nThe data described here consists of the numbers of fish eggs and larvae (and \r\nalso *Nephrops* larvae) identified from the main net samples collected on \r\nthe survey in April/May 1988, along with associated positional and ancillary \r\ndata and volumes filtered.",
