The images \r\nwhere collected using the PI (formerly known as Plankton Image Analyser \r\n(PIA)), during the PELTIC (Pelagic ecosystem in the western English Channel \r\nand eastern Celtic Sea) surveys from 2016 to 2019, on board the RV Cefas \r\nEndeavour. Zooplankton samples and images were collected during night hours \r\nonly at stations which were selected to match the collection of other \r\nenvironmental parameters.",
