    "description": "These sample data are from sediment cores collected using a NIOZ (Royal \r\nNetherlands Institute for Sea Research design) Box Corer during 3 surveys \r\nconducted by the Research Vessel (RV) Cefas Endeavour. Samples were analysed \r\nfor and data presented for lead-210 ( 210Pb), polonium-210 (210Po), \r\ncaesium-137 (137Cs), radium-226 (226Ra), radium-228 (228Ra), and \r\npotassium-40 (40K)and used to help validate the range of sediment \r\naccumulation rates observed in the top 30 cm of the core (e.g., 137Cs) and \r\nassess any potential mineralogical changes across the studied core segment \r\n(e.g., 40K).",
