    "description": "This survey was undertaken by Cefas as part of the North Sea Groundfish \r\nSurvey, Qtr 1 (FSS: IBTS1E);\r\n\r\nStation, catch, length (all species) and biological data (selected species) \r\nfor each of the annual surveys covering the North Sea using research vessels \r\nand GOV trawls in support of EU data regulations and as part of the \r\nInternational Bottom Trawl survey. Additional aims include collection of \r\nbenthic, water temperature and salinity and litter data.\r\n\r\nSurvey took place between 28/02/1978 and 17/03/1978 on Cirolana\r\n\r\nEquipment used during this survey :\r\n\r\n\r\n- Frame Trawl ISAAC-KIDD 2.5m bars standard IYFS spec.\r\n- Otter Trawl GOV Long Wing 36/47 Standard IYFS Spec.\r\n\r\nSurvey operations were undertaken on 137 stations\r\n\r\n46 different species were caught on this survey",
