Intertidal sites are not specifically included in the audit unless directly part of an offshore project (e.g. cable routes, pipelines). The aim of this project is to raise awareness and widen understanding of the results of offshore projects and surveys which have been undertaken for academic or commercial purposes through appropriate dissemination aimed at a professional, but not necessarily specialist, audience.",
