    "description": "This report describes the results of surveys carried out around Lundy in 1978 and 1979. Species checklists and an abundance scale were used throughout the survey to ensure the collection of comparable data. The report includes the distribution of habitats and species around Lundy. It concludes that within the context of South-West Britain Sublittoral Survey, Lundy is considered to be the richest and most scientifically interesting area studied. This is mainly due to the discovery of high abundance and variety of rare or unusual species recorded during the survey.",
