The survey was carried out by Southern Science, for Southern Water Services, in 1992. Twenty sites were sampled using a day grab. Species were counted and identified to species level where possible. Depth and sediment types are available for each site. This dataset was collated as part of a Joint Nature Conservation Commitee (JNCC) contract.",
