    "description": "The study area was identified by English Nature as an area important for its marine wildlife (Sensitive Marine Area) and a Special Area of Conservation (pSAC). Several of the habitats and their associated communities identified during this study are rarely recorded and may represent the best examples of their type within Britain. The dataset in the report contains MNCR biotope data of the Jennycliff and Batten bay area. All biotope recordings were made using the criteria outlined by Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC). It is concluded that continued coastal development and increased recreational use of the study area will likely result in degradation of these important marine wildlife features.",
