    "description": "Marine Scotland \u2013 Science uses FRV Scotia to undertake a deep-water trawl survey along the \r\ncontinental slope of the Rockall Trough (Neat et al. 2008). This survey area is situated some \r\n100 km to the north and west of Scotland (Figure 1.1). The continental slope separates the \r\nshallow shelf seas (< 200 m) from the deep ocean plains (> 2000 m) and supports a diverse \r\nassemblage of fish, some of which are commercially exploited such as roundnose grenadier, \r\nblue ling, black scabbard, orange roughy and deepwater sharks.",
