    "description": "This document provides supplementary information in support of the Marine Licence Application (MLA/2016/00179) submitted to the Marine Management Organisation on 21 April 2016.\r\nThe application for a Marine License was made in order for clearance and disposal of unexploded ordnance (UXO) to be undertaken within the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator project leased area. Work is planned to start in September 2016 and potentially continue through to completion of construction planned for October 2017. It is envisaged that the majority of the work will be undertaken in September and October 2016.\r\nFollowing submission of the application on 21/4/16, the MMO requested further information on the 6/5/16 relating to potential impacts on a number of designated sites and further assessment under the Water Framework Directive.\r\nThe MMO stated that the Marine Licence application could not be progressed further without the submission of this additional information. Therefore BODL have supplied a preliminary response to these queries in order to enable the application documents to be circulated to statutory consultees for comment.\r\nBODL also note that other recent offshore wind applications for UXO clearance licences have not included this level of requested information at the initial application stage and therefore considers it unusual for the MMO to place the application on hold. As such it is expected that additional consultation queries may arise from statutory consultees once the ML application has been accepted.",
