    "description": "Barrow Offshore Wind Farm is located\r\nin the East Irish Sea near Barrowin-\r\nFurness. The transmission cable\r\nruns into Morecambe Bay where it is\r\nconnected to the National Grid transformer\r\nstation in Heysham.\r\nThe construction of Barrow Offshore\r\nWind Farm took place between\r\nMarch 2005 and July 2006. The wind\r\nfarm is now operational and generating\r\npower. Surveys are ongoing\r\nduring the autumn 2006 to monitor\r\ncable burial depth. It is likely that additional\r\nwork will be required to secure\r\nexposed or vulnerable offshore\r\ncable sections.\r\nThis document describes the environmental\r\nmonitoring undertaken during\r\nthe construction phase in 2005\u2013\r\n2006. The environmental monitoring\r\nreported in this document should be\r\nseen as a continuation of the preconstruction\r\nmonitoring. Monitoring\r\nactivities will continue post construction\r\nand will be reported annually to\r\nthe licensing authority, as described\r\nin the FEPA licence, for a period of\r\nthree years.\r\nThe environmental monitoring did\r\nnot register major or unforeseen\r\nenvironmental impacts during construction\r\nof the wind farm. The following\r\nparagraphs summarise the\r\nprimary results from the monitoring\r\nprogramme. Please note, the boat-based bird survey data is also present in this series.",
