A total of over 400\r\nline km of geophysical data were collected during the survey, which was undertaken\r\nduring the period 1st to 9th June 2007.\r\nHigh-resolution side scan sonar, swath multi-beam and single beam bathymetry and\r\nmagnetometer data were acquired along all survey lines, which were run at 100m\r\ncentres, with cross lines at 200m centres, in order to accurately map the entire seabed\r\nwithin the wind farm development area.\r\nFor the proposed cable route, eight parallel survey lines were run using swath\r\nbathymetry and side scan sonar techniques, to provide full coverage of a 500m wide\r\ncorridor.\r\nThe primary objective of the survey was to map seabed features and bathymetry, both\r\nwithin the wind farm area and along the associated cable route.",
