    "description": "As part of the monitoring programme stipulated within the FEPA Licence for the construction of an\r\noffshore windfarm on the Kentish Flats (Thames Estuary), fish monitoring surveys are required. Advice\r\ndetailed in Annex I of the FEPA Licence (Licence 31780/03/0) for the Kentish Flats Wind Farm states\r\nthat \u2018adequate pre-construction baseline and post-construction surveys of fish populations in the area of\r\nthe wind farm\u2019 need to be undertaken.\r\n\r\nThree pre-construction surveys were undertaken. The first of the seasonal post-construction fish\r\nmonitoring surveys was undertaken on 7th July 2005 (see separate report).\r\n\r\nThe following report presents the survey details for the second of these post-construction surveys,\r\nconducted on the 12th October 2005. A summary of the current survey is provided in Table 1 below.\r\nSubsequent surveys are planned for December/January 2005 and March/April 2006, to encompass the\r\nprojected first operational year of the windfarm.\r\n\r\nDetails of catch composition and subsequent analysis are not included here; these data will be compiled\r\ninto an interpretative report at a later date.",
