    "description": "This series contains the annual and monthly reports as well as the raw data for the 2013-2014 Greater Gabbard bird survey carried out as part of the 2013/2014 construction monitoring, in accordance with FEPA licence requirements.\r\n\r\nConditions contained in the project\u2019s Food and Environment Protection Act (FEPA) licence 33097/10/1 (dated 29th\r\nOctober, 2010), set the requirement for additional ornithological monitoring of the site,\r\nwhich includes the wind farm area, 1km buffers, 4km buffers and a control area, with\r\nsurveys during pre-construction, construction and operation. In consultation with Natural\r\nEngland, the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and the Marine\r\nManagement Organisation (MMO), which has replaced the Marine and Fisheries\r\nAgency (MFA), an Ornithological Monitoring Protocol (GGOWL 2007) was subsequently\r\ndeveloped for the project.\r\n\r\nThe monitoring protocol includes a programme of monthly boat-based transect surveys,\r\nfollowing the methodology as recommended by Camphuysen et al. (2004). In addition,\r\nmarine mammals were recorded as incidental sightings.",
