    "description": "Key stakeholders with an interest in the future of offshore wind in the UK were invited to an event comprising of themed participatory workshops to help shape a programme of strategic enabling actions for the future deployment of UK offshore wind The outputs from the event formed the Needs Case for the programme, now known as the Offshore Wind Evidence and Change Programme. This event was an important collaborative step in defining the programme, prior to launch. The event was hosted by The Crown Estate in conjunction with its programme partners, the Department of Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Department for Food and Rural Affairs ( Defra). It was chaired by Prof. Dickon Howell and workshops were independently facilitated.\r\nWorkshop participants were invited to contribute to:\r\n- Developing the programme outcomes and priorities\r\n- Defining desired goals aligned to outcomes\r\n- Recommending routes for delivery\r\nThis is a record of participants\u2019 views on the day and subsequent written representations, The Crown Estate has anonymised, synthesized and structured the workshop outputs for consistency but does not necessarily endorse any individual view expressed.",
