    "description": "The aim of this study is to describe the fishing activity within the vicinity of Gunfleet Sand, with respect to the proposed Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm development on this site, to inform the assessment of potential fisheries impacts. The potential disturbance caused by noise from trenching equipment, an localised increase in turbidity, would also need to be considered. Fish are sensitive to a wide frequency range, but are believed to respond (i.e. show avoidance behaviour) only to very low frequency and very high frequencies. Wind turbines are not expected to produce significant high frequency noise, therefore only disturbance from low frequencies only would need to be considered. Intermittent noise such as may occur during activities such as piling or trenching may have an impact on fish behaviour during the construction phase. The timing of such activities would need to take into consideration any potential impacts of species that may be spawning nearby.",
