    "description": "In order to monitor the abundance and composition of fish and epibenthic species within the area, otter and beam and bass trawl surveys were undertaken within and adjacent to the proposed Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm Extension (KFE). The results from the pre-construction surveys will be compared to those undertaken when the KFE is operational.\r\n\r\nThe sampling sites have been categorised into \u201ccontrol\u201d and \u201cwind farm\u201d in agreement with the Marine Management Organisation (MMO). Due to the small area of the extension, the \u201cwind farm\u201d sampling locations cover the existing Kentish Flats wind farm, the proposed KFE zone and the export cable route as well as their immediate surroundings.",
