    "description": "This study follows on from two previous metocean studies carried out in 2004 and 2008 by HR Wallingford for the Lynn and Inner Dowsing Offshore Wind Farm, and for the Lincs Wind Farm. In this study, the updated and improved wave and flow conditions were extracted from the models calibrated in the Lincs study area (HR Wallingford, 2008) in the four nearshore points defined in the previous HR Wallingford report.\r\n\r\nThe studies found that 1-year and 100-year extreme wave heights were 3.8m and 5.5m respectively, with tidal currents often exceeding operational thresholds and the largest waves predominantly from the northeast. Conclusions highlighted the importance of these findings for construction, operations, and maintenance planning, as well as extreme event preparedness. Recommendations included accounting for future sea level rise, integrating updated data for weather window planning, and using revised hydrographic reference levels to support safe and efficient wind farm operation.",
