    "description": "Osiris Projects were commissioned by Npower Renewables to undertake a major\r\nhydrographic and geophysical survey across a large area of seabed in the southern\r\nNorth Sea. This area lies between 33km and 48km off the east Lincolnshire coast and\r\nbetween 48km and 60km of the north Norfolk coast. The survey was substantially completed during the period 9th July 2008 to 22nd October\r\n2008, using MV \u2018Freja\u2019 as the main vessel collecting bathymetric, side scan sonar, subbottom\r\nprofiling and magnetometer data, with MV \u2018Barinthus\u2019 as a secondary vessel\r\ncollecting bathymetric data only. MV \u2018Freja\u2019 was equipped with dual-frequency single\r\nbeam and multi-beam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and\r\nmarine magnetometer systems. MV \u2018Barinthus\u2019 was utilised for bathymetric infill lines\r\nonly and was equipped with single and multi-beam echo sounders. Primary positioning\r\nduring the survey was provided by the use of CSI Vector sensors on each of the\r\nvessels. During early 2009, RPS Energy were commissioned to prepare a brief outline of any\r\nremaining and additional survey requirements for Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm and\r\nthe adjacent Silver Pit area, to the west of Triton Knoll.\r\nThe Silver Pit reconnaissance survey was carried out using the survey vessel MV \u2018Lia\u2019\r\nand was completed during the period 1st to 13th March 2009, with recorded delays for\r\nsevere weather and engine problems. The remaining section of the Triton Knoll area\r\nwas surveyed using both MV \u2018Lia\u2019 and MV \u2018Freja\u2019, during the period 14th to 31st March\r\n2009, with further recorded delays for severe weather. The work included a narrow\r\nstrip of seabed between Silver Pit and the original western extents of Triton Knoll\r\nNorth, called the Triton Knoll extension area. Additional, high-resolution side scan\r\nsonar surveys were carried out at the locations of a number of \u2018significant targets\u2019\r\n(possible wrecks), which were identified during the 2008 survey.",
