    "description": "In line with the requirements of the Electricity\r\nWorks (Environmental Impact Assessment)\r\n(England and Wales) Regulations 2000, an\r\nEnvironmental Impact Assessment (EIA) has been\r\nundertaken for the proposed Cirrus Shell Flat Array\r\n(CSFA) Offshore Windfarm to ensure that all\r\nsignificant environmental impacts resulting from the\r\ndevelopment have been identified and assessed.\r\nThe EIA examines the need for the project; the\r\ndesign of the windfarm (and associated works);\r\nimpacts that may result from the construction,\r\noperation and decommissioning of the development\r\nand appropriate mitigation measures to minimise\r\nsuch impacts.\r\nA combination of field surveys, desktop surveys and\r\nmodelling techniques have been used to assess the\r\npotential impacts of the proposed windfarm. In\r\naddition consultations have been undertaken with\r\nboth statutory and non-statutory consultees,\r\ninterested parties and the public.
