    "description": "During December, 2002, Andrews Survey carried out 16 marine piezocone penetration tests\r\n(PCPT\u2019s) and 16 vibrocores as part of the European Marine Energy Test Centre, Orkney.\r\nThe fieldwork was performed for RJ McLeod from the vessel \u2018Forth Fighter\u2019. The water depth\r\nat the test locations was approximately 50m. Penetration of up to 5m for the PCPT\u2019s was\r\nspecified and achieved.\r\nThe investigation generally revealed the seabed stratigraphy to be sandy deposits to the north\r\nof the site, with glacial till overlying suspected shallow bedrock encountered to the south.",
