    "description": "At the request of SCIRA (the Client), an investigation was carried out at the Sheringham\r\nShoal Offshore Wind Farm site, off the north Norfolk coast. The investigation consisted\r\nof carrying out nineteen electric Static Cone Penetration Tests (CPTs) at fifteen\r\nlocations and vibrocore sampling at thirty locations at the site in order to provide\r\ninformation about the ground conditions at the wind farm and along the export cable\r\nroute.\r\nThe fieldwork was carried out between 16th and 18th August 2005, performed by Alluvial\r\nMining Limited using their equipment and personnel on board the vessel VOS Baltic.\r\nThe site extended offshore approximately 15 to 20 miles north of Cromer and\r\nSheringham on the north coast of Norfolk.\r\nThe approximate National Grid reference of the site is 375000E, 5885000N.\r\nThe records of the British Geological Survey (Sheet 131 \u2013 Cromer - of the 1:50,000\r\nSeries Geological Map, Solid and Drift Edition) indicate that the site is underlain by\r\nPleistocene deposits over the Upper Chalk\r\nFurther background research such as a desk study was not required within the terms of\r\nreference for the work.",
