    "description": "Colin Plant Associates (UK) were commissioned by RPS to undertake a preliminary examination of\r\ninvertebrate habitats at a site on Cleve Marshes, Kent on the proposed cable route from the offshore\r\nwind farm to a proposed sub-station at Cleve Hill farm.\r\n\r\nExamination of the water beetle fauna was also requested as well as a scoping exercise for further beetle surveys in particular and wider invertebrate surveys in general.\r\n\r\nThe site was visited on 28th September 2004. Aquatic beetles were sampled using a pond net of mesh diameter 0.5 millimetres, taking care to sample all available micro-habitat feature that were evident in the ditches.\r\n\r\nTerrestrial invertebrate sampling was not undertaken; because of the late date in the year, there were almost no terrestrial invertebrates in evidence.",
