The characterisation will support an assessment of potential impacts of the proposed development on the seabed environment. \r\n\r\nThe specific objectives of the study were to carry out a video survey to characterise the seabed within the study area (Figure 1) in terms of: \u2022 Distribution and abundance of marine habitats and communities; \u2022 Identify habitats or species of conservation importance; and \u2022 Determine the substrate type at all locations sampled.",
