    "description": "On the instructions of E.ON Climate & Renewables UK, Osiris Projects were\r\ncommissioned to undertake a pre-construction geophysical and scour monitoring survey\r\ncovering the proposed Robin Rigg Offshore Wind Farm development site. The survey\r\nwas undertaken during the period 26th March to 27th April 2008.\r\nHigh-resolution side scan sonar, swath multi-beam and single beam bathymetry and\r\nmagnetometer data were acquired along all survey lines, which were run at 100m centres,\r\nwith cross lines at 200m centres, in order to accurately map the seabed within the wind\r\nfarm development area.\r\nThe primary objectives of the survey were to map bathymetry and seabed features,\r\nincluding the presence of any magnetic anomalies within the wind farm area.\r\nA number of additional works were also undertaken; these included more detailed\r\nbathymetric data collection around a selected number of recently installed turbine bases\r\nto monitor the extents of seabed scouring. More detailed bathymetric data collection was\r\nalso carried out around the location of the proposed sub-station and its close\r\nsurroundings, where inter-array cables will be more densely concentrated.\r\nDetailed bathymetric data was also collected around the existing meteorological mast.\r\nThis is located to the NE of the development area.\r\nA seabed level comparison was undertaken using the bathymetric data from the 2007 and\r\n2008 surveys.\r\nDetailed bathymetric data was also collected around a series of proposed turbine\r\nlocations, where spud-leg depressions from the jack-up rig were causing concern.",
