    "description": "In January and February 2009, Titan Environmental Surveys Limited were\r\ncommissioned by Thetis Energy Ltd to conduct a detailed geophysical survey at Torr\r\nHead on the north east coast of Northern Ireland (Figure 1.1.1). The survey was to\r\ndetail information on bathymetry, shallow geology, seabed features and magnetic\r\nanomalies for the construction of a potential tidal stream energy generation system at\r\nthe site. \r\nThe purpose of the survey was to provide detailed hydrographic and geophysical\r\ninformation within the area to identify areas of exposed bedrock and to characterise the\r\nseabed in terms of sediment, rock type, benthic and epifaunal habitats. Geophysical\r\ndata was collected using swath bathymetry, sidescan sonar, surface tow boomer and\r\nmagnetometer.\r\nSurvey operations were carried out aboard the Titan Survey\u2019s vessel Titan Explorer\r\nbetween January and February 2010.",
