Ole Wirum. The main objective was to reveal the structure of the Mesozoic basins, information was incidentally acquired on tertiary dykes and Lave flows and on a submarine plutonic centre. Sub surface data were gathered using gas exploders, 1033km were covered by 17 lines. These data are archived by BGS. Technical details of the survey are contained in an Acquisition Report.
