Random 5cm quadrats are used to record barnacle species ratios. Random 20cm quadrats to record barnacle % cover and limpet abundance. Random 50cm quadrats to record limpet species ratios. Middle shore limpets are measured. Timed searches for Osilinus lineata, Littorina saxatilis and Cling Fish. Extensive photographs are taken as well to provide a visual record of the shores.
