These SAC sites included five marine Special Areas of Conservation (SACs) around the Welsh coast though only four of these (Menai Strait and Conwy Bay; Pen Llyn a'r Sarnau; Cardigan Bay; and Pembrokeshire Marine) have 'reefs' listed as Annex I 'features'. An ongoing programme of monitoring the reefs in each of these SACs follows the establishment programme.
