The dataset contains site descriptions (name, location, depths surveyed, site features etc), lists of all algae and animal species observed and habitat data. The purpose of this data capture was to investigate the sublittoral ecosystems of the Menai Strait and to determine the range and distribution of habitats and communities present within the Menai Strait and on adjacent open coasts.
