It was calculated using a python script toolbox in ArcGIS 10.5. This toolbox is available on demand from Cefas and based on the study from Kenter et al. (2013). The tool uses a series of spatial joins to assign the value to MPAs. The following data are used as input to the toolbox: 1. Sea Angling Survey (Armstrong and Hyder, 2012) - age (6 categorical groups) - distance travelled (10 miles intervals) 2. Seabird Nesting Sites from JNCC (`http://jncc.defra.gov.uk/`_) 3. Protected Wrecks from Historic England ( `https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/what-is-designation/protected-wreck-sites/`_ ) 4.
