A subsample was then taken using a 2.5 litre polycarbonate container. A sample for inorganic nutrients, salinity, chlorophyll and suspend load was prepared from the polycarbonate container. This was done within the field and within 2hrs of collection. Once processed the inorganic nutrient samples were stored in a cool box and chlorophyll within a dry shipper containing liquid nitrogen. Measurements of the following parameters were recorded. Salinity, Total Oxidised Nitrogen (TOxN), Nitrite (NO2), Phosphate (PO4), Silicate (SI04), Ammonia (NH4), Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM), Chlorophyll and Phaeopigments. MEDIN 3.1.1
