Grid cells were attributed a ‘larval settlement’ score for four scenarios by summing maximum (across years 2013, 2014 and 2015) particle tracking settlement scores falling within the cell. Similarly, grid cells were attributed a ‘suitability’ score by summing environmental suitability scores falling within the cell. For each grid cell, the larval dispersal connectivity score was multiplied by the suitability score to provide an estimated risk score of introduction or spread score. Risk scores were scaled between 0-100 and divided into very low, low, moderate, high and very high categories based on the scaled score thresholds; <1, 1-4.99, 5-24.99, 25-49.99, >50 .
