The whole area covers 1030 hectares. Divers were given a set list of 24 species to look out for on a dive. Anglerfish Lophius piscatorius, Velvet Swimming Crab Necora puber, Butterfish Pholis gunnellus, Edible Crab Cancer pagurus, Cod Gadus morhua, Lobster Dogfish Scyliohinus spp., Squat Lobster Ling Molva molva, Octopus, Lumpsucker Cycloperus lumpus, Anemone Bolocera tuediae, Scorpion fish Cottus scorpius, Dahlia Anemone Urticina felina, Wolf Fish Anarhichas lupus, Plumose Anemone Metridium senile, Wrasse Laburs spp., Bottlebrush Hydroid Thuiaria thuja, Nudibranchs Common Sea Urchin Echinus esculentus, Devonshire Cup Coral Caryophillia smithii, Sunstar Crossaster papposus, Dead Mans Fingers Alcyonium digitatum, Featherstar Antedon bifida.
