The Raising Factor is the estimated ratio of the catch to the sample taken. This is the value by which the sample should be multiplied to generate an estimate of the total catch for that net, and is in the sampleNotes field of the Sample Event Form This can be further standardised to CPUE by dividing by the soakTime measure in the Sample Event Form.
