The rates of uptake and loss of cadmium by the oyster Ostrea edulis L. at a polluted site have been studied by transfer experiments in the field. Oysters for this study were obtained from Lymington on the Solent. This survey was collated by MarLIN as part of a data collation contract for species on the provisional list of Nationally Important Marine Features .
