Each environmental station was investigated using grab sampling and seabed photography. Drop-down camera deployments were undertaken at each of the six locations. Sediment sampling was undertake using a 0.1m2 Day grab at a total of 6 locations across the survey area. From each station 3 replicates were retained for macrofaunal analysis and 1 replicate for physico-chemical analysis (sub-sampled for heavy metals, organic carbon, hydrocarbons and particle size distribution).
