Thus the data provides tentative information on the occurrence of O. edulis along the coast of Kent, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. This survey was collated by MarLIN as part of a data collation contract for species on the provisional list of nationally important marine features (Lieberknecht et al. 2004)
