The work outlined in this study is directed towards obtaining basic information on the natural concentration factors, tissue distribution and speciation of selenium in the native British oyster Ostrea edulis. Ostrea edulis were sampled from the Beaulieu River. This survey was collated by MarLIN as part of a data collation contract for species on the provisional list of Nationally Important Marine Features.
