Fish are measured to 1 cm. Updates are provided to the data controller either on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Data are combined into a central spreadsheet and checked by two individuals. Each fish is designated a sample number and otolith and stomach content analysis is linked to this individual sample number. All statistical analysis is performed using the R language and the code is freely available
