The locations of the majority of stations 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 at Elgin were repositioned to avoid existing infrastructure such as pipelines. At the Franklin site station 10 was repositioned west of its position in the cruciform in order to investigate an area of gravel identified from previous data. Grab samples were acquired using an ROV sampler at stations El 1, El 2, Fr 1 and Fr 2 near the well platforms, and using a Day grab at remaining stations. Underwater seabed photography was undertaken at all stations using a Kongsberg oe14-208 camera system mounted on a Hercules ROV.
