The study was undertaken by the University of Plymouth for the Benefit of Natural England. The dataset includes a list of species found during the survey and biotope characterisations for each of the sites sampled. GIS is used to map out the biotopes of the area and show the distribution and variety found during the survey. This survey was made by both Remotely Operated Vehicle and by a towed off-bottom sledge known as the Flying Array. GIS maps were made using aerial photographs and the data from the vido transects were added to show biotope distribution in the area.
