Laboratory tests have been conducted on, the recovered vibrocore samples; specifically core logging, photography and particle size distribution analysis. The investigation and the subsequent laboratory tests revealed that the seabed sediments consist mainly of fine to medium and occasionally coarse angular to sub rounded flint and sandstone gravel and medium to coarse sub angular to sub rounded sand. Some profiles showed silt and shell was associated with the sand and gravel.
