Sampling was undertaken using towed sledge, mounted with underwater video and still cameras, for the Strangford Lough surveys...video was replayed and preliminary notes expanded to include more detailed descriptions of the bottom type, benthic communities, dominant epifauna and evidence of fishing activity (if any). Only a subset of presence absence data is entered into DASSH.
