Ivero. All depths have been reduced to LAT using GNSS height data processed using PPP (precise point positioning) techniques and the UKHO VORF model. Acquired data were processed using Caris HIPS and SIPS (version 7.1) software and have been gridded at 0.5m x 0.5m. In addition the bathymetry data were used to reduce the pinger and sparker data to LAT. The scope of work called for the categorising of the engineering properties of the Holocene soils within the top 5m of the seabed using a shallow geotechnical campaign consisting of 3m vibrocores and 5m miniature cone penetration tests (MCPT). No interpretation of this dataset was carried out by Gardline Geosurvey; a separate Geotechnical Report No. 9662 has been produced by Gardline Geosciences. The scope of work called for a visual inspection survey of selected boulder areas to be carried out. This was done to obtain a more detailed understanding of the nature, dimensions and distribution of the boulders to determine the degree of the risk to foundation installation and cable routing. No interpretation of this dataset was carried out by Gardline Geosurvey; the photographs and logs being provided to the client only.
